BPE Celebrates Client Win at the 2019 ISPE Facility of the Year Awards
BPE is delighted that the Continuous Drug Substance Manufacturing facility of Eli Lilly in Kinsale Co.Cork has been selected as the 2019 Process Innovation Category Award recipient at the 2019 ISPE Facility of the Year Awards
BPE are proud to be the multi-disciplinary design and project management team that delivered the €30M new technology investment at the Kinsale site in 2016. This small scale API continuous processing project was developed from initial scope definition through to CQV completion by BioPharma Engineering. You can read the full project case study here.
The BPE team delivered this project which was not only highly complex and used some of the most advance technologies and techniques but it also required the dedication and drive to deliver the full project in under 24 months.
Eli Lilly were commended at the awards which were held recently at the ISPE European Conference in Dublin for facility innovation and process design concepts that have advanced the industry in three specific areas; process analytical technologies and advanced automation, development of new continuous technologies, and significant improvement in process safety and environmental impacts.
